A cupboard for the Moomin house kitchen - Kaappi Muumitalon keittiöön

I have been making a this cupboard for the Moomins' kitchen. The material is balsa, and the curved board is an extra part of a woodcraft construction kit. The cupboard pattern is my own.

A creative mess - Luova sotku

I like reading aphorisms, sayings and such, and I got the idea to start collecting quotes which are related to crafting and creativity. Here goes the first one (by anonymous):

Crocheted miniature doilies - Virkatut pikkuliinat

I crocheted these mini doilies with 0,4 mm hook from Venne Colcoton silk thread. I love working with the silk thread, as it is very soft and easy to work on.

Virkkasin nämä pikkuliinat 0,4 mm:n koukulla Venne Colcoton silkkilangasta. Silkkilangasta on todella mukavaa virkata, sillä se on ihanan pehmeätä ja helppoa käsitellä.

Moomin house - Muumitalo

My Moomin house is a self-made house which I found in the flea market of my working place. This is how it was when I bought it.
Muumitaloni on itsetehty talo, jonka löysin työpaikkani kirpputorilta. Tällainen se oli kun ostin sen.

 Now it looks like this. I have made the floorings from strips of bamboo which I have got by disassembling some bamboo place mats. And I have wallpapered the walls.
Nyt se näyttää tältä. Olen päällystänyt lattiat bambulistoilla, jotka olen saanut purkamalla bambutabletteja. Ja olen tapetoinut seinät. 

The Moomins's bedroom is in the upper floor. - Muumien makuuhuone on yläkerrassa.

The living room is going to be in the middle floor. - Keskimmäiseen kerrokseen tulee olohuone. 

 The kitchen is going to be in the bottom floor. - Keittiö tulee alakertaan.

Ari dollhouse dolls - Ari-nukkekotinuket

These little darlings are German Ari dollhouse dolls, which I bought from Ebay. My husband and son helped me to name the babies, and they became Ilmari, Elmeri and Jalmari. I crocheted these pants for the dolls.

Nämä pienet kullannuput ovat saksalaisia Ari-nukkekotinukkeja, jotka ostin Ebaystä. Mieheni ja poikani auttoivat nimien keksimisessä. ja nukeista tuli Ilmari, Elmeri ja Jalmari. Virkkasin nukeille nämä pöksyt.
