Miniature armchair - Nukkekodin nojatuoli

I was going to make a chair for the writing table in the study in Erlenhof. It turned out like this and now I am not sure if I am going to place it in the study after all or in the living room instead...

I have bought this nice leopard print fabric from Minikitz as also the tiger print fabric which I used for making the tiger skin which is on the floor. The golden leaves are jewelry parts and I also used dresden trims (embossed foil paper trims) for decorating the chair. The dresdens are quite nice for decorating miniatures, as they are easy to cut and shape.  

Aioin tehdä työtuolin Erlenhofin työhuoneeseen. Siitä tuli tällainen ja nyt en ole varma, laitanko sitä kuitenkaan työhuoneeseen vaiko sen sijaan olohuoneeseen...

Olen ostanut hauskan leopardikuvioisen kankaan Minikitzistä niin kuin myös tiikerikuvioisen kankaan, mistä tein tiikerintaljan joka on lattialla. Kullanväriset lehdet ovat korunosia ja käytin tuolin koristeluun myös "dresdeneitä" (kullanvärisiä kohokuvioituja paperikoristeita - miksiköhän niitä oikein sanotaan suomeksi?). Dresdeneillä on kiva koristella miniatyyrejä, koska niitä on helppo leikata ja muotoilla.

Today the mail brought the newest issue of the magazine of the Finnish Dollhouse Association. In its cover there is a picture of Susanna Ruotsalainen's charming Agatha Christie living room, which got the first prize in this year's miniature room competition organized by the dollhouse association.
