Needle felt cat

We learnt how to do needle felting in the last meeting of our local dollhouse club. We made miniature dogs and cats. It was a lot of fun, although pretty difficult for a beginner.

I made this cat. It is a little bit too big for the dollhouse size, because I actually first started to make a dog, and then it turned into a cat, as a realized that I do like cats a lot more than dogs!

What a coincidence. I sat on a plane a couple of weeks ago next to a woman doing needle felting. I had never seen it before .. she was making a bird. Now I see it again, Minna. It must mean I should give it a try. I thought of using it to create the look of bubble bath in a "tub scene" I'm doing.

That sounds like a good idea! I think you could make "snow" by needle felting, too.

Minna, thank you for visiting my blog and casting a vote too! I'd noticed that someone had been looking in from your part of the world and was curious!

You have a terrific hobby and are very talented at it, I wish I'd known you when my Dad made me my dolls house all those years ago.

The felt cat is gorgeous!

What a cute little cat! I've never com across a blog like this before. It could be really useful of my project! I'm making an intire farm (landscape, animals, people ad buildings) from wool. I'd love for you to have a look and let me know what you think.
